WEST CHESTER, PA 2/20/2024 — Valley Forge Classical Academy is collecting petition signatures to appeal the denial of the Charter School Application by the West Chester Area School District. Despite a thorough and complete application that demonstrates full alignment of the VFCA curriculum to the PA State Standards, and meeting all of the Charter School Law requirements, the West Chester Area School District denied the Charter Application. The next step in the process is to appeal the decision of the Board to the State Charter Appeals Board. To secure a hearing, 1500 signatures from WCASD residents is required.
