West Chester, PA – The Chester County History Center (CCHC) will hold its first “Season of Lights” festival, a vibrant multicultural celebration showcasing the diverse holiday traditions of Chester County’s community.
Season of Lights will welcome over 25 multicultural, community participants including West Chester University, Casa Guanajuato, West Chester Library, Arthur Hall Insurance, West Chester Rotary Club, Aqua Pennsylvania, and the Kapitbayan Filipino – American Association, among many, will contribute to the celebration. The galleries of the History Center will be filled with twinkling lights, festive displays, and decorated trees to immerse visitors in a multi-sensory experience that transcends cultural boundaries. Season of Lights will represent the customs and traditions of various communities that call Chester County home.
On December 1st CCHC will host Lights On! an opening night that will offer, beyond the sights and sounds, a diverse array of culinary delights, delicious warm chocolate, music, family programs, a scavenger hunt, and entertainment to bring friends and neighbors together in celebration.
On December 13th, CCHC will host a Holiday Concert inviting the community to experience festive music for brass at CCHC’s historic auditorium. In partnership with the Kennett Symphony, CCHC will host the Kennett Symphony Brass Quintet directed by Michael Hall.

The Season of Lights display will be open to the public from Sunday, December 1st, 2024 to Saturday, January 4th, 2025 during regular museum hours and included with admission.
