What do you enjoy most about your job or business industry?

What I love most about my business is hearing my customer's success stories after using the system. Sending personalized messages of gratitude and appreciation is important for any business, but when it leads to repeat business, new customers or a referral, that makes my day!

In what ways has your chamber membership benefited you and/or your business?

I'm a new member, but I have been made to feel so welcome by everyone I've met so far in the Chamber. The Exton Chamber has a feeling of togetherness and camaraderie I haven't experienced with other chambers I've belonged to. There is a spirit of lifting each other up and supporting each other that I find very refreshing!

How do you define success?

Success for me is knowing that I'm making a difference, being of service and helping people achieve their goals. When I have done any or all of those each day, I sleep well at night.

What business challenges do you face and how do you overcome them?

The biggest challenges I've had all relate to me being my own boss. I've struggled with time management, trying to do it all myself. I finally started to get a grip on it by implementing systems to help me keep on track. The best thing was starting to utilize a scheduling calendar. Now I have specified hours when I work, play and am flexible. That alone has helped create more continuity and self accountability. Having a mission statement and core values has also been helpful to keep me focused when I'm not feeling motivated or when I get distracted.

What makes your business stand out from other businesses offering similar services or products?

I'm dedicated full time to helping business owners reach out to their clients in meaningful ways. I recognize that each business is different so I take a consultive approach to learn about them so I can offer the right membership and products to get them started. After that, I'm always available to help them along the way. We offer a large selection of cards, gifts and other items to send and helping businesses figure out what will work best for them makes me happy!

What advice would you give a young professional starting out in their career?

Learn from those you admire and be accountable.

What’s something about you that most people may not know (favorite band, favorite food, childhood memory, etc.)?

I'm an introvert!
