I enjoy interacting and celebrating the immensely talented and creative artists in our community! Watching customer's faces light up at the sight of the artists' work is my true joy.
Getting to know so many local business owners has been a true pleasure. I deeply felt the power of the support at the chamber when we packed the house for our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony last year! Members continue to show up the gallery and spread the word about our business daily. I've collaborated with multiple businesses already and look forward to new ways to collaborate with other members in the future!
I define success as doing my best. That may change daily depending on the season, my mood, and external circumstances. Giving myself grace on hard days and knowing when to turn the gas on on good ones is a huge juggling act and lifelong lesson. But knowing that I've put my best foot forward for that day, giving it all I could- that's success. It's all in the little wins when you're in small business!
The name of the game in retail is getting the word out and doors turning! Joining the chamber has helped immensely in this in 2 ways. First, the members follow through and both support on their own and through spreading the word. Secondly, I found my dream marketing team through the chamber, who I fully expect to help send the gallery into overdrive by reaching the people we need to!
We are unique in that we are not just a retail gallery-we are dynamic. We feature artisan led events- both private and public. We have two event spaces and an events menu where you can choose a truly unique, artisan led event for your next team building, girl's night out, family reunion, birthday party- etc etc! We also offer monthly artisan classes and special events both ticketed and free for the community. Finally, we have a gallery on our second floor that rotates monthly and features a local artist's exhibit in a solo format. We host a monthly gallery Opening Reception that features complimentary champagne, live acoustic guitar, and the chance to meet the artist.
My apple watch. The gallery is 4 floors and I can be absentminded about where I put my phone. The watch can locate my phone for me which honestly saves me hour(s??) in my day. Besides looking at the time, that's it's main function for me.
I can make super realistic dolphin and seagull sounds. Be wary when asking for a performance- it's LOUD!!!
