Hall of Fame sportswriter Ray Didinger will be making a special guest appearance, courtesy of RMI Law, for an ERCC event Friday October 8 at the Movie Tavern in Exton at noon. He will be bringing with him a few short highlight videos, and will be discussing his award-winning play Tommy and Me, which covers his lifelong relationship with Eagles Hall of Fame wide receiver Tommy McDonald, and which will be presented by the Delaware Theatre Company in October.
Throughout his career, Ray has amassed several awards beyond induction into the Hall of Fame, including three Emmys, three Associated Press awards, and has been named Pennsylvania Sportswriter of the Year five times. He is the Dean of Philadelphia sports, having covered all of the major sports for over fifty years.
He enjoys taking questions from the audience and will entertain all comers at the event. Following the event, Ray will stay and sign copies of his newest book “Finished Business: Fifty Years of Headlines, Heroes and Heartaches”. Join us along with your sports fanatic friends on October 8 as we meet and honor one of Philadelphia’s finest.
