Habitat for Humanity of Chester County works in partnership with volunteers, donors, and the entire Chester County community to build simple, quality, affordable homes for middle and low-income families. 1 in 7 families in Chester County pay more than 50% of their income on housing alone which leaves little money left for food, healthcare, etc. Home is the key to freeing these families from financial instability, from stress and from impossible choices between essential needs. And we know affordable homeownership is the key to helping our neighbors and our communities build back.
Habitat homes are not free; currently, we offer two different homeownership opportunities that each require applicants to participate in education classes and help build their homes. The application window for those interested in applying to be homeowners in either the Coatesville or West Grove location are now open. Visit www. https://hfhcc.org/homeownership/ to apply.
