Elizabeth Fantine, Chief Financial Officer for the Chester County Food Bank, and Anand Solanki, Chief Financial Officer for Citadel Federal Credit Union, have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to our community.
Elizabeth (Beth) Fantine served over 35 years as Manager, COO and CFO in the lumber, millwork and construction business in Chester County. Second career path led to the non-profit sector starting with Director of Finance for the Chester County Historical Society in 2012 and then for the past 8 years CFO of the Chester County Food Bank.
The Chester County Food Bank is the central hunger relief organization in Chester County serving over 100 network partners such as food cupboards, shelters, and senior centers. The Food Bank distributes more than 4.5 million pounds of food annually and over 70% of that is fresh and nutritious food. and has seen an upwards of 30% increase of need since the pandemic.
Beth, holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Widener University. Originally from Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, she now resides in North Wilmington, Delaware with her husband and their dog – Dawkins. Beth enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her daughter, playing polo and pickleball.
At Citadel, Anand is responsible for Corporate Finance, Corporate Strategy & Development, Consumer Insights & Analytics, and Product Management. He has been with Citadel for over six years, and has been one of the key contributors to the doubling of assets over that period. Prior to joining Citadel in 2018, he was responsible for multiple functions at Discover Financial Services, including Financial Planning and Analysis, Enterprise Risk Management, Corporate Strategy and Development, and Capital Markets. Anand earned his Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management. Anand likes to support the local community, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Chester County Food Bank, Chester County Economic Development Council, Posh Technologies (Citadel’s Conversational AI partner), and the Delaware Valley Regional Finance Authority. He is also on the Member Advisory Group at FHLB Pittsburgh.
