Exton, PA: Recently, many Collegium Charter School (CCS) Kindergarten students and several high school students brought sweet sounds of holiday cheer by singing outside for the residents at Arbor Terrace Exton. Arbor Terrace is a senior living community near one of Collegium’s K-4th Grade buildings in the Exton Oaklands Corporate Center.
“We have been counting down the days for this year’s caroling event,” said Kristen Frank, a CCS Kindergarten Teacher. “Our hearts have been full of happiness since singing for the residents of Arbor Terrace last December. Once again, planning for this event has been at the top of our ‘To Do’ list.”
The CCS Kindergarten students were excited to bring holiday joy to their “neighboring
grandparents.” One student shared, “I’m excited to have them join our school family.” Not only does spreading holiday carols make the residents of Arbor Terrace smile, but it also teaches the young students the importance of building community.
“This event is so much more than just singing!” said Kristen Frank. “It promotes kindness and a sense of community between all of us. We are so proud of our students for trying their best! This is one of the incredible reasons CCS is so amazing.”
