Exton, PA: Collegium Charter School (CCS) hosted its National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Induction ceremony on Wednesday, September 21st. The evening honored 17 students inducted for the 2022-2023 school year by reflecting on the meaning of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character.

“This is only the beginning; your future is limitless!” said Dr. Gaskin, Collegium’s Middle School Assistant Principal, to the new inductees. “I am proud of you and the momentum you are gaining. Your creative minds are blazing a trail of possibilities.”

The NJHS elevates a school’s commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. According to the NJHS organization, members are focused not just on academics, but help develop the habits and standards needed

to succeed in high school, college, a career, and beyond.

NJHS highlights academic and service accomplishments and brings them together to help create a better environment for Collegium’s Middle School students through service projects and activities. One inductee shared, “I’m grateful I was accepted because only a few people experience it. I want to be able to help out around the school as a member of NJHS.”

Collegium’s Middle School Librarian and NJHS Advisor, Mrs. Wallace shared, “I’m excited to be the CCS Adviser for NJHS. Our students will make a difference with any project or activity they do as a part of NJHS.”
