Chester County Event Commemorates 20th Anniversary of 9/11 and Honors First Responders

(Exton, PA) —Join Uwchlan Ambulance this Saturday, 9/11 to commemorate this milestone anniversary. Shortly after gates open at 3 PM, a memorial service will be held including a reading of the names local first responders lost in the line of duty as well as Chester Co. residents lost on 9/11. The service will be followed by a memorial stair climb.

Other highlights include live demonstrations from local Ambulance, Fire and Law Enforcement for all ages, health screenings, a car seat safety check station as well as a free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. Children’s activities include a passport program to introduce them to the world of EMS, Fire & Law Enforcement through interactive learning stations, featuring the “teddy bear hospital” with a bonus prize for completion. Among those scheduled to participate are Lionville and surrounding Fire Companies, Uwchlan and surrounding Township Police Departments, Main Line Health, Chester County Health Dept., Oriental Medicine of West Chester, ChesCo Hero Fund and World Martial Arts.
