LANCASTER, PA (May 4, 2022) – RKL LLP is pleased to announce that Director of Marketing Allison Schlegelmilch, CDMP, PCM®, was named 2022 Marketer of the Year by the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM). Schlegelmilch received the award, which annually recognizes exemplary performance in the profession, on May 2 at AAM’s Annual Summit in Louisville, KY.

As RKL’s Director of Marketing, Schlegelmilch leads the firm’s brand visibility, awareness and engagement strategies. She oversees branding, advertising, public relations, content strategy and social media, events, internal communication and new service marketing for the firm. In the past year alone, Schlegelmilch and her team:
- Elevated the RKL brand message with a new branding campaign
- Implemented and adopted a new marketing automation and CRM solution
- Supported business growth, client experience and firm culture initiatives in the firm’s strategic plan
- Managed communications, brand integration and marketing onboarding for two mergers (in the Lehigh Valley and South Central Pennsylvania)
Schlegelmilch joined RKL in November 2012 as communications manager and was promoted to director of marketing in 2015. She previously served as a PR and marketing consultant for the technology, real estate and professional services industries. Schlegelmilch is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional and a Professional Certified Marketer. In addition to AAM, she is also a member of the American Marketing Association.
Schlegelmilch is an engaged member of her hometown Lancaster community. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and chairs the Growth Committee for Leadership Lancaster, and is a member of the Communication Advisory Group for Hospice & Community Care. She resides with her family in Lititz, PA, and enjoys reading, practicing yoga, painting and watching her daughter play soccer.
