EXTON, PA – January 17, 2026 – The Board of Directors of the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce (ERCC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ashley Pierce as the organization’s new President. Pierce brings a wealth of experience in regional advocacy, membership growth, and strategic communications to the role.
Since 2021, Pierce has served as the Communications and Membership Coordinator for the Western Chester County Chamber of Commerce. During her tenure, she was instrumental in expanding the chamber’s footprint and modernizing its digital outreach through sophisticated social media and marketing initiatives. Her professional background also includes significant journalistic experience as a contributing writer for VISTA.Today and a lead journalist for GO! Local Publications.
“We are very excited to announce Ashley as our next President and look forward to seeing her hit the ground running,” said Tony Scheivert, Chair of the ERCC Board. “Her deep roots in Chester County and her proven track record in chamber operations make her the ideal leader to guide our members into the future.”
The search for a new President began in October following the departure of former President Laurie Ryan. During the transition, Sean Rinda served as Interim President, supported by Membership and Events Manager Arianna Lehr.
“We are enormously grateful to Sean for stepping in and providing outstanding leadership and a calming influence as we worked through the selection process,” Scheivert added.
Pierce holds a Bachelor of Science in Media Communications and Literature from Wilmington University. Her appointment marks a new chapter for the ERCC as it continues to strengthen its role as a premier catalyst for business success in the Greater Exton Area.
